Solo Spotlight Series: Mrs. Bliss’s Titanic Adventure
The New Tampa Performing Arts Center's new Solo Spotlight Series features award-winning performers in dynamic and entertaining solo performances that showcase the storytelling power of a single voice.
In Mrs. Bliss’s Titanic Adventure, written and performed by Bridget Bean, a disillusioned actress is working in a Titanic exhibition when an intriguing stranger lures her into an unreal adventure. Can she avert disaster? And what can possibly go wrong?
This one-woman mystery adventure is loosely based on Bean’s life – her personal immigration experience to the USA from England, her search for meaning and connection, and her time working at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. It’s up to you to decide how much is true, and how much is the product of an overactive imagination.
Suitable for general audiences, recommended for ages 11 and up.
