Tampa Jazz Club presents acclaimed guitarist Dave Stryker, along with retired University of South Florida Director of Jazz Studies Jack Wilkins on tenor saxophone. Known for his distinctive sound, Stryker is among the most prolific artists in jazz. Vocalist Allison Nash, pianist Simon Lasky, and bassist Alejandro Arenas are well-known jazz artists, composers, and band leaders on the Florida jazz scene in their own right. Together, they are excited to launch this new collaboration which interprets and reinvents the great compositions of Burt Bacharach, with a jazz sensibility and for a 21st Century audience. In addition, they will perform jazz standards and their own compositions and arrangements.
